Arbitrator Rules Route 41 Pizza Driver Must be Reimbursed for Actual Expenses or at $.56 per mile

Biller & Kimble has scored another victory for a Domino’s delivery driver. On February 11, 2021, Arbitrator Sam Hanson (a former Minnesota Supreme Court Justice) ruled that a delivery driver who works for Route 41 Pizza is entitled to be reimbursed at the IRS rate (currently $.56 per mile) for his automobile expenses because the company did not keep records of the driver’s actual expenses.

Delivery Drivers Sue Alexa Enterprises Papa John’s Franchise for Mileage Under-Reimbursement

On January 15, 2021, Biller & Kimble, LLC filed a lawsuit on behalf of delivery drivers who work for the Alexa Enterprises Papa John’s franchisees operating in the Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio area. The drivers’ case seeks to cover all pizza delivery drivers who worked for the Alexa Enterprises Papa John’s franchisee over the last five years.

Delivery Driver Sues Domino’s Franchisee Waller Enterprise, Inc.

A former Domino’s Pizza delivery driver has sued Waller Enterprise, Inc., the franchise that operates a number of Domino’s stores in Northeast Ohio. On behalf of himself and his fellow delivery drivers, the plaintiff is seeking unpaid wages and damages for the company’s alleged failure to fully reimburse delivery drivers for automobile expenses incurred delivering pizzas.
